Hi everyone , I have a 2018 lx570 trying to install the weboost somewhere in the back ( woofer area)
I am also open to suggestions on where to mount this.
I have to use the 3rd row so it has to be basically inside somewhere hidden and not on the floors.

Also is there is a diy on how to take these back panels off ( where the jack and woofer is)

Thanks in advance !!

I tucked the main unit between the interior panel and base of the driver side third row seat. It’s pretty tucked away and does not interfere with the third row seat.

I ran the antenna cable from the outside of the tailgate to the roof. Eventually I’m gonna reroute the antenna cable out thru the hatch grommet.

I ran power from the battery through the driver side grommet, then down the floor/door sill channel, under the second row “step” near the outer base of the seat and tucked the wire under the interior panel next to the third row seat.

Since you have blingbling LC with build in subwoofer I probably would take a look at the right side of the covers in the trunk. There should be ole ty of room to store all kinds of stuff in there and to mount this box (I have there a livetime amoubt of fuel filters - or enough for one trip to north Africa where you better change him every second tank….)
Cables are easy to pull. In the firewall on the passenger side there is some rubber plug where you can punch your cables through, then down to the doorsteps (normaly you can just pull them with force) and then following the car till the rear.

Any tutorial on how to take those covers off? AST year I did a 15k mile trip across USA to most national parks and camped there in my lx. This weboost definitely comes in handy

The tailgate cover I believe has bolts under the the two storage covers and then just pry it up.

FWIW I think behind the interior panel in trunk is better option. Lots of places to tap switched 12v power back there.

Yea I am thinking either left or right, the right side have some space for first aid kit. That’s. Good option

Normaly you can just pop it out. A strong pull should do the work.

/edit and in the rear this black pladtic cover has one screw in it with a plastic cap on top. Pop it out with a screwdriver and you can unscrew it. So you can reach the rear of the car.
Maybe you will have to fidle around a bit with the covers at the b-column but you don’t need to remove it

Where is the hatch grommet you mention?

Under the US passenger seat. Lots of space, just tip the seat back to install.

I did need a 1 meter extension for the antenna wire. I put the antenna on the hatch.

It’s on the far left of the upper hatch. Iirc @Eric Sarjeant ran some wiring out of that grommet to a roof rack.

The plan in my head, is to run the wire from the interior, to the upper hatch via the right/center grommets/connectors, the out to the roof from that left side circular grommet.
