Anyone around here using this? A couple of friends have had good experiences with Front Runner products in general, but have not tried this water tank.

My first thought on the one you posted is to find a more efficient use of space. The 200 doesn't have a hump, so no reason to have a humped tank. Also, just a note from the time I looked at these. Ironman has very similar offerings about 50-60% the price.

Ironman seems to be out of stock on a lot of their tanks.., but worth checking back.

Depending on your use case (are you crossing the Simpson desert and taking showers every night or just cooking dehydrated meals on a weekend camping trip?) something smaller could cover the need.

Coming from a backpacking background, three gallons lasts us several days.

I use the domestic go tanks right now (and the pump) - some things to think about... 11L is 3 gallons, which is not much. I use up to 4 of the tanks depend on what I am doing. The flexibility is nice however for showering you can get away with one tank, a meal and washing dishes, etc may take another one, so you are refilling often.
Depends on how you use water. (I cook meals rather than use the camping type stuff for instance, so pots have to be washed, etc.)
I am looking for a better solution for "normal" trips in the 200, the D90 will continue to use the Dometic tanks since it fits my needs there.

I'm curious how much sloshing can be heard with a tank in the second row footwell? I've migrated my water holds to the outside of the car, because I don't like all the sloshing when off-road.

Water use is something that can be optimized with various trades. I can get by for a weekend of camping with a family of 4 using a single 5 gallon Jerry. Without showers.

On the cooking side, I have minimal washing with a couple strategies. Some disposable dishware. Using a cooktop (Blackstone 22") for cooking as all the cleaning that's required is to deglaze it with a little water and wipe. Perculator for hot drink/coffee. I don't bring pots and pans.

I have the front runner tank originally posted about. Had it for a couple years now, ran lines from both sides back to my pump at the tailgate to a kitchen sprayer. No complaints, just works. You do hear a little sloshing, but not enough to bother me. I also don’t have any other seats in my lx besides the front two so no people climbing in and out over it and having to deal with a shorter amount of space for legs. Just a flat platform that covers the tank for my dogs.
