As you can see in the pics I took out my roof racks and found them to be pretty dirty, probably in gonna try to do some kind of rubber gaskets for the lower end or base or the roof rack (English is my second language sorry if I'm not spelling or giving the idea as it should be)

I had a similar leak, only when the rain was really bad, ended up being my windshield. It was installed too low. Only fix was to replace it.

Could you describe “too low” in more detail? I had my windshield replaced recently. It seemed fine through a couple rain storms.

Then it snowed and sleeted on a Thursday, melted by friday evening. i went into the truck on Saturday so the alarm and locks worked at least. I added the thin rubber trim piece that sits inside the moulding and covers the rivets because it had been missing. Then monday i came out to a totally dead battery (3v) and chalky residue on the lower left dash trim covering all the electronics and wet carpet. I got it started today (had dropped to about 1.7v) and the basics seem fine. Didnt do a total systems check.

Do we think it was just that missing trim piece or do we think the glass needs to get reinstalled?

Cause we all like pictures

I don't have any pics but it wasn't terribly obvious. It was only maybe 1/4" low. It was most obvious when looking at the VIN window. I did have to replace it (again ). It is not an easy windshield to replace; I'm not sure how many times the A pillars could stand a replacement what with cutting and drilling out the rivets etc. I was very explicit with the next crew about it and they did ok.

Mine turned out to be the ac evaporator gasket and really only happened during heavy downpours. If i see water coming from that area again, I'm covering that sucker with some silicon and calling it a day.

Are u talking about the pass side or drivers side?

Passenger side. I replaced the gasket and added some silicon for insurance. No issues since then from that area. It's kind of a pain to get to but definitely doable.

I will say my ac was pretty low which was causing it to cycle a lot and drip condensation onto the passenger foot well from a different area as well close to the center console. I recharged the system and all is well.

We’re you able to figure out what this was? Just found the same thing in mine this morning.
Drivers side is different from previous post. Passenger side is usually ac condenser gasket. Drivers side can be multiple things. Usual culprits: clogged sunroof drain, leaky windshield seal, roof rack leak, etc. I would start with the simplest and go from there.

Thank you! Follow up question. I’ve never had the roof open. Should I open and try to clean out?

I would open and pour a cup of water down first. If it doesn't drain, yes. If it does, no need to clean out. The drains are located at the 2 front corners of the sunroof channel.
