Could you describe “too low” in more detail? I had my windshield replaced recently. It seemed fine through a couple rain storms.
Then it snowed and sleeted on a Thursday, melted by friday evening. i went into the truck on Saturday so the alarm and locks worked at least. I added the thin rubber trim piece that sits inside the moulding and covers the rivets because it had been missing. Then monday i came out to a totally dead battery (3v) and chalky residue on the lower left dash trim covering all the electronics and wet carpet. I got it started today (had dropped to about 1.7v) and the basics seem fine. Didnt do a total systems check.
Do we think it was just that missing trim piece or do we think the glass needs to get reinstalled?
Mine turned out to be the ac evaporator gasket and really only happened during heavy downpours. If i see water coming from that area again, I'm covering that sucker with some silicon and calling it a day.
Are u talking about the pass side or drivers side?
We’re you able to figure out what this was? Just found the same thing in mine this morning.Help, where do i start? Went to get into the truck and found th puddle on drivers side floor.

Drivers side is different from previous post. Passenger side is usually ac condenser gasket. Drivers side can be multiple things. Usual culprits: clogged sunroof drain, leaky windshield seal, roof rack leak, etc. I would start with the simplest and go from there. We’re you able to figure out what this was? Thank you! Follow up question. I’ve never had the roof open. Should I open and try to clean out?Drivers side is different from previous post. Passenger side is usually ac condenser gasket. I would open and pour a cup of water down first. If it doesn't drain, yes. If it does, no need to clean out. The drains are located at the 2 front corners of the sunroof channel.Thank you! Follow up question. I’ve never had the roof open. Should I open and try to clean out?
