Anyone close to Washington, NC thats coming close to Charleston, SC? There is a set of tires on CL that I would like to buy but getting them here is a little trouble for me.

Im close to washington nc but I don't have any plans for a charleston trip. I can pick up and get to raleigh or fayetteville if needed. For a small fee :)
What size tires?

I am going to Boone NC next week....Monday afternoon and returning to Charleston Wednesday morning. How far are they from Boone? I usually go up 26 to 77 then 85S to 321 and cut up through Hickory and Blowing Rock on my trip. If not too far off I can pick them up if they will all fit in my LX470 with seats up all they way for maximizing cargo space. Same size tires I have and think mine all fit when I bought them and took them to get installed. Other than the extra 400 pounds of rubber wont be a big deal. Let me know....if seller can get them to me at destination or somewhere along my route. I could meet someone at the Indian Motorcycle dealership on my return trip of that is easier to get them and schlep them to Charleston....

I checked on google maps and I got about 6 hrs too. The guy selling them will not drive anywhere to help out with the delivery. Looks like my search will continue. Thanks

if time is not a problem...someone can at least get them from him...and through multiple ventures eventually get them south. I am going back up to Charlotte area first week of April if you can get them that far by then.

Ok. Let me get in contact with the seller and see whats going on. Thanks for helping me out. I will keep you posted.

I'll be in the RDU area a few times in March and might be able to get them to Charlotte and store them inside as long as needed before Brock can pick up in early April. I'm only limited by not yet knowing how much room I'll have in the van on those trips - each will be different. I'll keep my eye on this thread to check progress. PM me if it looks like I might be of help.

Thanks for all the help in trying to get the tires for me, but I am using uship.com to get them to me. They are going to pick them up at the sellers house on Tuesday and deliver them to my house on Wednesday. First time in using the service but very easy and alot cheaper than I thought. I paid $72.00 total for shipping. Thanks again Jason
