Yesterday, we installed a Warn M8000 winch in my AllPro front bumper. I already installed the bumper, so we didn't have to go through all the steps for that, just taking it off and installing the winch.

Because we didn't want to alter the control box and the socket is in the wrong place for this bumper, we drilled an additional hole near the access in the bumper. Here is the hole we drilled:
We also had to add a piece of metal to align the control box a bit better. It proved to be very solid and worked quite well. We also did a little bracket bending to make everything fit well. Here is a pic of the bracket:
Here is a pic of the new socket hole once the control box was installed.:
And here is the finished product!
Overall, this install took a long time, but was worth it. Since the Warn 9.5 is pricey at $1000, the time was worth it to save $550 and install the M8000.
