Good find; rebuild it with Flintknapper's thread and enjoy your as-good-or-better-than-new winch!

Will not have time for the next 9 1/2 months......will have to wait. I called Warn and they will rebuild it for 200.00. Seems like a decent deal.....I'll probably hold out so i can glass bead and paint to look better...

$200 dollars......for labor ONLY, correct? Doesn't seem like a bad deal.

Hey Boats,where do you take or ship your winch to?Is it some Warn dealer or ??cause Shipping would kill the deal,I know they are heavy.
I scored an 8274 for free recently off an old 70's Dodge Powerwagon.The guy was going to donate the truck&I asked what he wanted for it and he said take it! 1/2 hr. later and it was mine!!
