Wanted: Window Handle & Radio

As in window crank handle or door pull handle or? I have a window crank handle with a silver center. If the AM/FM was optional on a '76 '55 I'd sell my working OEM AM radio but I have not heard if that is the case.
 
Sorry, I just need one window crank, mine are solid black. AM/FM would be nice but I don't think there was such a thing for a 55 though I could be wrong. I'm interested in seeing if anyone has a stock radio since I'm undecided about what to put there.
 
Chris, the radio I currently have is the AM radio. I'd like an AM/FM and preferably stereo if such a thing were ever offered in the '55. We need the piggy historians to help us out.

As for the window cranks if they are basic 40 style, Autozone has those for like $5.00 for two. But all plastic vs plastic with metal post. My 2 55's had chromed window cranks.

I think I can help you out on the crank. I think I have a black one I bought a while back thinking it would be chrome. Let me see if I can find it. It's yours free if I can.
 
Bad news, the box was not where I thought it was.
Good news, I found the box.
Bad news, it wasn't in it.
Good news, I found it as I was using it for the cranks on the 55.
Bad news, it doesn't match any of the chrome ones I need.
Good news, it's yours and will go out Monday.

Got to love cruiser karma. Especially 55 karma.

AM/FM radios came late. I don't even think they were in 55's since production stopped in 79 (I could be wrong). But you could find one out of a newer 40 since the hole was the same. I bought my AM radio off of mud for 20 dollars I think. AM/FM shouldn't be more than that. Heck you never know there might be some more cruiser karma still left for ya.

And, by the way, as I should be cutting floorboards for Eshan this weekend would you say the rusted area on your floors is what you have seen to be the most common rust out area in the land of rain?

I am slow to cut these as, despite my 7/70 having been in the mountains and being rusted, I live in the desert so, I have a focus for cuts issue and am currently thinking just in front of the front seat posts up to 1" above the incline to the firewall and just at the edges of the hump and the door frame?

Thanks Marshall, I'll PM my address. I was going to mention that cruiser karma would be coming your way in the form of a chrome handle from someone and Eric's already fulfilling that.

I never thought of a 40 radio, one of these days I'll have to take a close look at one. ;)

I'll start looking for a radio out of a 40, were all the radios the same size?

Marshall, I have 3 and need two myself...so, if 1 is what you want, you win. If you need more than 1 then the close second would be a set of 4 that are sorta similar that I pulled off of a sedan to have as future spares- just 'cause they were there.

Anyway, pm me.

Sorry been installing a tranny.

As much as I'd love to take you up on the deal I put a check in the mail last week to 3puppies for two handles. So I'm hoping I won't be needing anymore. Thanks for the offer.
 
If you want my FM radio, that's fine. Sold AS IS, missing a black knob and I have no idea if it works or not. I am back at college now, but this Thursday I can take some pictures and grab it for ya. Let me know.

Thanks Brian but I think I have an AM/FM that will fit. It's from an 82-83 (I think) Toyota Pickup and I should have it tomorrow to see if it fits.

Any chance of a driver's door inside panel? Worth asking? ;)
