I know I'm probably dreaming here, but I'm looking for lower rear corners for my 79. Anybody have a 78 or 79 that has already been chopped up? I don't have near the skill necessary to fab these up. Particularly looking for the passenger side. The drivers side is almost salvageable, but if someone has both sides I would be interested.

I'm in Boise, but what I need not such a big piece, so shipping not a big deal.

Anyone?
 
eperry, I'm getting close to starting a mold to fab up some rear lower corners and one for the drivers side rear roof corner. I can't promise anything yet. Don't know if my imagination is going to cause more headache than results but what the hay. I'm gonna give it a shot. Considering all the metal companies I've emailed thus far have been reluctant in replying to me. I intend on taking lots of pictures and will make a thread if things work out.

Well I'm gonna head out in the garage and see how difficult the beginnings of my idea are going to be.
 
Didn't get much done managed to nearly take my fingernail off on my left pinkie. Oops. Believe it or not you bleed a lot when removing a fingernail the hard way. I'll try again tomorrow after work.
 
Strangely enough, I do believe one would bleed alot while removing a fingernail the hard way. Thanks to your finger for taking one for the greater cause of piggy rear corners.:)
 
Trollhole, I intend on making the attempt out of either 18 or 16 gauge but no promises. I know I can make them out of fiberglass and repair would be a snap. But I know I as well as all of you would rather have steel.
