do you need the motor and squirrel cage? I've almost certain I've got some, not sure on the direct swap of the 40 stuff

I need the motor. The commutator(?)copper contacts on the armature are pretty toasted-grooved to the point they're worn through to the insulation in places...

do you still have doors for sale? I was going to restore the two early fronts I had but they are pretty toasted(bottom hinge ripped out). Might be worth it for me to find better candidates...

thanks

If some one has pieces that they can match up, I have one or two housings that are restored ans a mess of motors, have no idea what is what.

pics of motor. the fiche shows the early FJ55 motors are different than the FJ40 ones.

Does anyone know what I said in that post???:eek::confused:

Ok, Good news,. I have a pretty good looking complete unit as pictured above.

Part number is still bright on the top.

JAPAN ---->

gasket is still soft and ready to bolt up.....

It will not fit in a flat rate box, Sorry!

But will need a 12x12x12 to keep it safe from 97045

You know how heavy it is, make a fair offer paypal aatlas1x@aol.com and it's yours.

Happy holidays,

Shane

I'll try and get pics up later, but that is different than my early 55, the bolt flange is completely round not bulged out where the bolts go, also not sure if the squirrel cage is metal.

Shane probably has what you need. will it fit in a flat rate box with the squirrel cage removed??
