I'll be parting a BJ70 pretty soon. I'm keeping the wiring. Unsure on the alt and starter. But everything else is complete (radiator to transfer... axles too, if you want'm).

Here's a half cut for a Hilux-Surf (4-runner).
The benefits of a half cut are that you have a complete example to start with, so you know what it's supposed to look like in the end, and you've got all of the brackets, bolts, and miscellaneous stuff that makes a swap a pain sometimes. I also believe that half-cuts are significantly harder to import lately than just a few years ago.

No doubt, I would love to find a BJ70 85-88 half cut, hopefully with the suspension seats, those are awesome!!
for any of those looking, I know Matt Tarnow has a 3B with H55 and t/c out of a bj7x series sitting in his barn that he's looking to sell. Suspect he also has the wiring and other misc parts.
Many should recognize his name as one of the old school guys... he's been parting cruisers for tens of years and will treat you well. He's just not much for the whole interweb thing...
