Wanted 1971 or 1972 dodge 224 camper

This is what I am looking for, this one is around the corner from my house. The guy just bought it and it is original,I have already offered him double what he paid. I think it is the coolest looking camper and I want one. There was one on craiglist in Denver colorado but the add ended and I can't get in touch with the guy. They can be had pretty cheap (1500 to 2500) I am willing to pay up to double of that for a clean original down to the wheel hubcabs/

I have a 1978 Dodge Xplorer

Excellent condition, no rust, inside it sleeps 2-4, comes with fridge, toilet/shower, kitchen sink, stove, furnace, kitchenette table for two. On the outside it has storage for two 20 lb LP gas tanks, anther storage spot on other side for whatever you want about 24”X 36”, water tank/connection, 120v 15’ cable to run AC, gray/black water storage tanks and awning.

Hi James,
I believe I have the exact van you are looking for. 1971 Dodge Xplorer 224 Motorhome. All original exterior paint, hubcaps, trim, etc. Inside is mostly original (a few upgrades as it was originally pretty ugly wallpaper and such). Everything works or could be easily fixed. I haven't done much "upgrading" as I understand these vans are rare and worth more to a restorer or collector as-is.
Are you still looking? The van is in Minnesota at my parent's place. I will be back there (in Seattle now) sometime in October.
