ARB has reissued the outback version of their full bumper, I saw that cruiser corps has it for a reasonable price and free shipping. I was thinking of grabbing one for a future 40.

I'm not really a huge fan of the way the ARB full bumper looks. Don't get me wrong functionally I'm sure it's great. But I mostly use mine just for cruising no pun intended. I'm not really a big wheeler per se so a lesser, better looking IMO, grill guard is what I would prefer. I don't know I'll keep looking at it and seeing if it grows on me but for now I really like the look of this other kind like I posted.
The 3420020 referenced above is not the bumper that ARB is doing the limited run on.
ARB limited run on their outback version is 3420010.

That is not the one Spectre sold. Those bolted together. This one is fully welded and came in two versions. One is all round tubing the other is a combination of square and round tubing. The one in the picture is 4plus sold by @lcwizard. This is what Spectre use to sell.
I find it interesting these haven't been made in years. They still have some of the side rails still around. I had thought of buying a pair and look at them occasionally. Last time I looked they had just about doubled the price. Those are NOS that been sitting on the shelf and decided if they can't sell them at one price instead of lowering the price they double it. Main reason never purchased them is their shipping and handling costs. Specter has always been proud of the handling charges. Cost of shipping bulky packages has skyrocketed.
Maybe if Dave pipes in being alerted may know where you can find one. Or if he is considering making more.

So Cruiser Corps at one time offered a very similar FJ40 Grill Guard ???
