looks great Andy, better not let any of that paint poke out from under the hood though.:flipoff2: I assume the intake is just laying there, otherwise I can think of one river crossing that's gonna love it.

"watcha" goona do for radiator and shroud?

I think the filter will be fine there, the creek hasnt been that high in years. My plan is to build some kinda bracket to hold it under the hood vent

I will start out with the stock radiator and probably modify the old shroud or build a new one

Tonite i put the t-case linkage back on and started on the wireing. Pulled the factory harness out of the dash and cut out a bunch of crap that is no longer used or junk ive added over the years. Got my fuse/relay box mounted still not sure where im going to put this pcm.

my PCM is on the drivers side fender well....using GM bracket. I would put it up high as I think you like to do plenty of water crossings.

Here is the vss im going to use.

If I have time tomorrow I'll look to see if the junkyard has a PCM bracket like the GM trucks use for the PCM.

How does the silver end of the vSS connect to the transfer case?

Assume on the gold end...the speedo cable connects?

Thanks for the offer elbert but i have a factory bracket. the vss screws on the t-case where the speedo cable goes then the cable screws on to it.

other way around, gold end goes on t-case

ok...on the bracket.

hope that particular VSS works...post up and let us know when you get that far. I know there are different versions of the VSS.. different engines need specific versions. As I recall when we setup my engine...we could not find the righ one (like you have) and I think I must have bought one of the last adapters from Downy...it uses a GM VSS. I like the speedo setup..looks like it would be easy to install and easy to swap out if needed.

I'm going to try and get a few things done on my truck across the weekend.

havent updated this in a while. got some pcm brackets fabed up.

Next to finish up the fuel lines. I have made plenty of brake line over the years so i thought this would be easy . This 3/8" line is a PITA.
