Hey guys....I am down in South Carolina and VP of Lowcountry Land Cruisers.

I have a thread on mud and also blue forum about trying to get another snorkel manufacturer to support our FJ Cruisers.

If any of you are interested in a newly designed snorkel.....please send me a PM.

I am working it out with a fabricator in Pennsylvania that already builds lots of things for JEEPS. He now builds an all aluminum snorkel for Jeeps with welded seams.

My intent is for a snorkel that exits fender below A-Pillar or through fresh air vent on passenger side..... That hugs the APillar and rises slightly above the roofline but below roof rack height. With both a ram air type inlet as well as the Donaldson Cyclonic you could add for wet snow or extreme dust driving.

It would be closer looking to some of the Land Rover snorkes than the bulky Safari Snorkel and not stick out fron fender as far....

Safari is fine but I want something different and cant make the trek to central PA for a week away from work to let them fab one on my truck.

Thanks for any support you may be willing to offer after 1 Jan to get this thing going. Once you commit I will send you some of the pictures and ideas I have collected from others around the country......and then you are the point of contact and man for seeing our dream become a reality.

I am getting absolutely nothing for this other than the opportunity to buy a different snorkel setup than Safari. I had liked the Volant Snorkel but previous version was dependent on also buying their CAI....and not much has come of their item lately though rumors have it coming out again by SPRING...but not whether it demands purchase of their CAI as well.

Thanks for any help or ideas.....if you can help and offer up your FJ for them to prototype this all aluminum snorkel in January. Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

Thanks for your time guys....guess everyone has snorkels and nobody wants another choice on top of the Safari. Thanks again for letting me enter your space and ask for a volunteer for this project. The shop is north of Hagerstown...so if anyone changes their mind let me know or contact River Raider Offroad yourself. Thanks again.

Sorry, man, I have an 80-series...There are at least three FJs in this club--might want to give it a couple more days to see if someone responds. Not everyone is on the forum every day.

Just thought I would chime in...I went the Safari route.
The offer came about a month to late.

Thanks, Matt
