Hey All,
I've noticed over the last little while we could use another moderator in here. One with some time to play around and set up the FAQ's etc. Cruiserguy and I are moderating in here now, but since we don't even own a 70 series it's hard to know what to FAQ or not.

SO to be a moderator all you have to do is volunteer.

You should be someone keen to participate and have time to spare to do so.

Your post count is not important to be a moderator. It's quality verses quantity of posts. You don't even need to be a 70 series guru.

So please post up if you're interested and Woody the leader of this gang will have a look at you, so will Cruiserguy and I.

It sure would be nice to have another moderator in here to do all the needed stuff.

If you see someone on here post that they want to volunteer and you like there help they provide on here, feel free to say I "thumbs up for this guy" or I nominate them....

Cheers! BB

I would like to nominate Clint79. He is young ,enthusiastic and owns a 79 series:grinpimp:

Who ever you choose I hope it will continue this forum the way it is.This is one of the few forums where people are helpful , polite and arrogance is not allowed.
It is rare to find place like this these days.

Hello,

I would like to nominate RoscoFJ73.

Juan

awesome keep nominating if you know of someone..

I doubt the forum will change. The benevolent leader woody sets the tone in here and it's A ok for me.

Rosco is a good contributor and great guy, but does he have the time to sort FAQ's??

Time is my issue. I moderate three areas and don't have a cushy desk job where I can surf a couple hours a day.. now I have a desk job with limited time. Plus I don't own a 70 series so my interest is unfortunately low to do the extra fun stuff people like. I try to keep the area clean and deal with problems as they pop up. So does cruiserguy. He also is 70 seriesless, we are just diesel nuts.

I d gladly do it
I have the time and I will hopefully be aquiring my own seventy soon enough

I'll be happy to assist in any way I can?

As you can see from the odd assed times I post, I'm available during some of the more "irregular" hours as well as off and on during the day. I own my own company so I've got more 'puter time available to me.

I don't know crap about 70's, don't own one and probably never will. I'm a 62 type with a burning desire for another 40 one day:D

I do moderate a couple other automotive sites though and have for quite some time, so if there's anything I can do for the betterment of the team, let me know? Maybe if there's someone with less time but more knowledge, we could split the duties. Whatever is best? Just throwing the offer out there.
...Hell, I'd even give them the paycheck:lol::lol:

Are you young, cause us old farts are a little rough around the edges with little patience.

Need some youth here.

Got my vote.

Rob

I can volunteer i am mostly online for 7 to 8 hrs(Moderating on another website). i will need guidance that what my duties will be and what type of work i will be doing.
about FAQ's i dont know much but i have keen interest in 70series and the 200series

My plan would be basically have the set up that the 80 series forum has with their FAQs.
Romers done a good job on that end. I would like to model that if possible.

roscoFJ73 sounds like a good choice for me.
Hes very helpful and quick to respond.

i would say roscofj73
allways help full on mud knows sheet loads of cruiser stuff
He has much much great cruiser knowledge and is a mud veteran
go rosco

rosco has said no in the past. But he is great and is a help. But some people would rather post and enjoy than keep Radd in line :)

Forel the 80 series FAQ is a good example. Really anything that works and helps people is good. There is no right or wrong for a FAQ.

Look at the diesel one. Although it needs help too. But there is no way to sort through all the 3b Turbo posts.. two digit word searches don't work. SO you end up using google to search the site. But there is a thousand plus posts on the same topic.

Keep nominating and volunteering. It's great when someone volunteers and bunch of people say they give a thumbs up. That's how I got into this a few years ago. I think i've been a mod for about 4-5 years... gawd time flies

Ha ha, I always have a hard time in a forum without mods, me and Brown Bear had our adventures in the start.

Problem lies when you never had a mod from the start and then there is someone telling you the rules:doh:.

As the third vendor on mud and only Woody as a mod, it was tough having to be told what to do, but in the end it was best for the fourm.

Off topic, but it was Henry C who told me about mud.

Good work BB:)

anyone of them would have my vote,

disagree that young is needed, common sense is needed.
i moderate over in IVOAC and have for a few years now and have the time to invest (at 2am-3am).

who ever it is will do fine, i am sure BB and woody will take care of that.
