Voice Navigation screens and rear cameras

It is available on the Lexus, and I thought it was also on the LC in the US, but I may be wrong, I was looking at a NAV screen out of a US camry to fit in mine, but couldn't get enough info on the camera wiring, and would have also had to chase up a DVD for OZ through toyota/lexus, so put it in the too expensive too hard basket ! I thought I had a wiring diagram for it but can't find it now, probably binned it too.

How come you missed out on that if you own a Sahara dinibili? I want the original camera in mine but they want $1300 for it , then it needs to go through an amplifier or something$$$$$$$, in OZ we get ripped off every tick of the clock!!

No kidding! Do you guys still have to pay extra for that "optional" A/C down there? I couldn't imagine having no AC as standard. Even the new Toyota Yaris to be introduced next year to the N. American market for $10K will have AC as a standard feature. You guys also have to pay a heck of a lot more for the Lexus LX470, like $123,000 AUD or so ($90K USD)? Sheesh.

Yes Australia toyota certainly takes us fro a ride!!
The A/C is a dealer fit in australia, well it was in 2003, haven't bought a new one recently.

The AC in the Sahara is Japanese fit, it certainly was in mine. My understanding is that in some of the other models it is fitted in Oz because of the implications of the Luxury tax ie 25% on anything over $55K. Ned Kelly never died he just changed names!
