Vintage references for Restoration (2 Viewers)

I am about to embark on my first restoration of a 1981 FJ40. I’m aiming to retain the original exterior but with modern technology for driving comfort and safety, ie disk breaks, engine swap, power steering. I am needing help to find references for the original exterior options for this model especially what wheels and tyre options were available.

You might find something here, thanks to the efforts of the crew at @Cruiser Cult.

Nice-looking rig. Where did you import it from? By 1981 I believe that North American FJ40s had power steering and disc brake front axles, so if yours is still running drums, you should have no real problem finding parts to swap over. Your full-float rear axle is a sought-after and rare upgrade in North America as well.
