I’m not convinced these EV’s are actually better for the environment, but there’s something satisfying about going to bed with your fuel tank almost empty and waking up with it full.

But seriously, if anyone here hasn’t taken one of those EV’s for a test drive, it’s worth it just for the experience. It’s like sailing, but on land and much greater torque…the silent surge in power still brings a smirk to my face when I “roll electricity” off the line and destroy just about any other common vehicle.

Just phoned the CVI Lounge, and apparently the patio is not open today due to staff shortage. However we can have up to a table of six people inside.

Personally, I can swing with that, but if it's a deal breaker for anyone else, we can re-schedule, or find a different venue. (these guys seem to have a patio, but if it's busy we might be SOL: Shipyard Restaurant and Pub - https://www.shipyardrestaurant.com/index.php)

Is a bit of a drive out of duncan too.


I'm ok with the table of 6...you figure we'll have that many? Usually isn't a problem

Great little meet of 5 people, nice seeing Nick as it has been way to long. The Potato family was in attendance along with Paul. Very busy and loud in the CVI, would of been nice to be on a patio, hard hearing people in our group. Good conversation great people.

Couldn't have said it better myself; thanks Rob. Was definitely great to see everyone again. I heard from audaciousduo just after the meeting, and he said he would have come for sure had he known. He had not been on the forum in a while so had not seen this thread. Next time....
