I have installed a front ARB bumper and a 12000 lb winch on my OME 2'' I think med lift, (Kaymar rear bumper/tire carryier on the way) and it seems to have droped enough to mis-align my head lights I don't mind the softer ride but I dont like the drop in height, any solutions. I wouldn't mind a little extra hight. thanks for the view+replies petersmithjohannsen@hotmail.com

OME torsion bars! Just installed on my 100 series for the same reason. It worked great. Good luck

You could try Mr. Gasket 1" spring spacers available through Summit Racing for $9.99 each or, if it were me, I'd install heavy duty front springs and sell the medium ones you currently have.

Uh, hello Beavis, there is a slight difference in the front end of the 80 compared to the 100. :D Sorry dude, but you do not get to collect $200 while passing go this time.

Either go spacer, J spring, or get used to stinkbug.

I think somone was selling a complete set of J-springs for pretty cheap down in the classifieds...might be just what you need ;)

Good luck!

Tucker

BTW - I've got a set of 1" Mr. Gaskets new in the package I didn't use if you're interested -

You should be running 850 or 850J heavies for that setup. Packing 851's is not a good solution in my opinion.

Sorry guys I'm a new 80 owner, what are J's ? Could the slee adjustable spacers or non addjustable spacers help ? I would like a little more lift anyway. If I went a little higher what else would I need ? Thanks a lot for the replies everyone

J-springs are OME's longer springs - would fix your problem while giving you a little more lift w/o the need for spacers.

how much more lift are we lookin at ?

Heavies would return it closer to what it was pre-winch/bull bar. Have a friend who's running medium springs in the rear with heavies up front and has the bull/winch - looks/performs nicely.

Thanks moj ! :)

I might be interested Tucker, if psj doesn't want them. Could I run these on stock suspension w/o problems? I'm getting an OME lift kit somewhat soon but would like to have a little more lift now when I run my 33x12.50.
