Since this is the first time I've sold a vehicle on Mud, and because of the possibility of out of state buyers, I will try and be as descriptive as possible. This is my third Land Cruiser, I bought this vehicle towards the end of July as a fixer upper and to give to my wife and sell her 94. I had never considered buying an unlocked 80 before, but the body and paint on this one are so nice that I couldn't pass it up. Mechanically it had a leaky radiator, was leaking oil everywhere from the front end, and needed a rear o2 sensor. Fast forward to the part where the wife says she will hold onto her 94 until I get her a 100 series  Here is the link to my craigslist post since I can't get the photos to upload to mud....... 97 land cruiser (very straight) . I will try and upload additional pictures later today.

Exterior: Amazing, its the straightest 80 I have ever personally seen. This was the main factor that sold me on it. I also love the Moon Glow Pearl color as they are quite rare in my part of the country. There is absolutely no rust on the body. The paint has no loss of clear coat and will take a shine with minimal effort. The panels are very straight with only an extremely small dent on the PS rear door. I must have made a dozen passes around the vehicle before I noticed the dent and its small enough that I can't get it to show in the pictures. The front bumper does have some scratching on the DS but it is superficial and the whole thing could be easily cleaned and repainted if your into stock bumpers. Also, the PS mirror is not color matched. The PO obviously had it replaced but not painted.

Interior: Has the usual torn drivers seat, and steering wheel, though the seat is still soft and comfortable to sit in. This truck has all 4 of the original floor mats, both fronts, middle, and cargo area. It even still has the little OEM carpet that goes in the square center drink holder. One of the visors doesn't like to stay up. Overall, carpets and panels are very clean though. The windows roll up and down like they've had new runs installed and there is very little highway noise. New Gamviti gears in both front seats so they will move back and forth just fine. The PO did take his radio, and I am willing to include one if that is an issue.

Engine: 216k miles, the truck runs fantastic. The engine is very quiet, no valve train noise, no bottom end noise. I replaced the radiator with a spare OEM. Has new front main seal, oil pump seal, thermostat, water pump gasket, radiator cap, upgraded fan clutch. All OEM parts were used with the exception of the AC belt. The new seals seem to have taken care of the leaks. No exhaust leaks. All hoses appear to be in good condition and the heater hoses look like they have been re done with OEM. Currently has a wix air filter but I will include a washable OEM that I found in it. As mentioned rear o2 is throwing a code.

Suspension/axle: Other than being very stock, this all looks good. Very minimal surface rust that you would expect on an undercarriage. The knuckles have remained dry so far. Transmission shifts smooth and everything appears in good running order under the truck.

Overall, this is going to make someone a great base for there project vehicle. If my wife had wanted it she would already be driving it and I would have been listing her 94 here instead of this one. I would love to see this go to a good home and look forward to seeing a build thread on it in the future.

Disclaimer: this vehicle did pass Kansas inspection on 08/11/16 and I titled it the same day. As such I am waiting for the title to show up in my mail box. It will have a clean and clear Kansas title, with no liens or salvage. I have been a member in good standing on this forum for over five years now and have no desire to mislead or cheat anyone. If you are serious about buying and the title concerns you please feel free to PM me for my number, I would be happy to talk with you on the phone. Have a great week.
