The weather was crap all day got nothing done besides going to a canvas shop for boats and ordered up some brown canvas for the soft top. I also forgot the camera at my girlfriends again. I wont post anything til tomorrow when I grab some pics of the chop......Vision is vastly improved when driving thats for sure...Should get some funny looks at the office tomorrow.


I have to find the size adapters for my fuel cell and am kinda confused at the moment. I know I need -8an but am unsure how they hook up to the rubber hoses. Ill have to call up summit to order them and some roll over valves. But, after I get them I can start the bob of a full 24" off the rear.

WOW cant wait to see it thats ALOT are you goings to keep the tail gate ??? I never even hit mine at 16 in :eek:
 
Actually I am going to use 80 series tail lights and tail gate, because the 80 series tale gate is somthing like 5 inches taller it fills in that gap that is there now, So the top of the tale gate will be even with the hight of the cut off lip. Follow?:D

Its funny how I cut the roof off, and the temp drops 30 degrees and it rains for a week straight....Is that timing or what.

Well the only thing stopping me from bobbing it this weekend is not having the right fittings to hook up the fuel cell. The truck can only be down for the count on the weekend becuase during the week I have to drive it, so having all the parts to jam out the bob in one weekend is a must.

Today me and fellow cruiserhead Jer are going out to pic up some tubing so we may bend up the the hoop closest to the front ( the one that isnt effected by the bob) and some sliders because my rockers are toast.

Also the ram assist should be here wednesday so that should find its way into the truck this weekend as well.

Bwhaha, a wood blade that I had on the saw zaw...I dint care. Its getting cut down further and capped. Took the time and cut the roof with the grinder though for a better cut. Its not like it made that dent/rust free body any worse looking.

and hey, we only broke one window doing it and only caught it on fire once:flipoff2:


Im not sure what I want to do with the head liner, its prob a gonner becuase it will prob mold.
