A lot of smaller vehicles get run over by the dump trucks by accident. They usually have designated parking to stop this happening.
They have cctv for reversing,they could do with some on the front as well

I work and drive the trucks where that was filmed,it had drivetrain etc removed i know that.
I dont think many cars get squashed these days either,ive asked at work and a dumpy has never squashed a car at the superpit i was told. Ive seen alot of pics from oseas of squashed cars,well a few.
Light vehicles are not aloud to park within 20mtrs of us on our onside and 70mtrs on our offside,yep BIG blind spot! We are not aloud to reverse without radio protocol either.

I think that company like extrem fahrzeuge in Germany to know how swap RHD to LHD versions of VDJ76/78 ... but it wouldn´t be cheapest conversion ..

Have they stopped the avalanches up there yet? A 75 series got horribly squashed by a huge rock up there a couple of years ago.
My brother sqashed a Hilux when a Bogger he was driving had a faulty handbrake and rolled back

I know of a VDJ 79 that'll go cheap, slight panel damage though, a fitter and the shift supervisor put it on it's lid on a straight haulroad......

That suggests the only place to find one is the middle east.

There are a few new ones for sale in The Netherlands though and they have even been modified to pass the stricter emmisions and are allowed to be registered in Europe. Of course these come with a hefty price tag but nevertheless they are available.

I only see one on the streets at a matter of fact .. otherwise all that are listed in the local adds are not here .. are there ( middle east ) and the prices are CIF at the port .. at best.

David what the cataloging indicates is that the only intended market is the middle east. Therefore anything found outside of that market will have been exported from the GCC to where ever it currently resides.

take a look on this pic .. those are lights ! crazy .. and also found a GRJ71 with a center console with Fridge .. ( wasn't able to locate in the catalogue so not sure if it's factory but was looking factory to me .. )
