I got my oil pressure gauge working in the cluster last night ( the harbor freight gauge said 58 psi). But, the engine doesn't sound up to par. I put a vacuum gauge on it from the intake manifold and It was only 11 in. It sounded like it was starving for fuel almost. The fuel filter on the fender looked a bit cruddy. The sight glass on the Fuji carb is at about 3/4

I had to put in a new remflex intake/exhaust due to my downpipe gasket leaking like crazy. It was flat and no leaks before replacing it.
Can somebody that de-smogged with a city racer carb tell me how they plumbed their vacuum lines and cannister? I want to verify that before I go down some rabbit hole. I fallowed the directions online but there isn't anything for folks with the Fuji with less ports.

I haven't had much luck with the search function on the website......

Just found this.

I’m interested in this as well. I’ll be installing a Fuji carb in my truck eventually.

I was going to run the canister the same as I did with the sniper setup, but I haven’t looked at the Fuji carb to see if there are enough ports.

For the sniper I used a t off of the vacuum advance on the distributor and connected a one way switching valve to open the canister to the intake manifold under the carb. It opened the valve when the advance kicked in and purged the fumes into the intake under high loads. I think the same setup would work with the Fuji. It was an emissions control vsv from an 80’s camaro. Don’t have a part number.

Changed out the fuel filter and started a baseline with the fast idle and idle screws 1 turn in. I worked the mixture screw and idle screw and watched my vacuum gauge.
