Well ive been resurecting this 91 from the grave for about 2 weeks now.
It was sitting for about 3 years, running pretty good now but there are some issues.
First idle is very high in park ~1000 RPM if not more
Secondly some of the vacuum lines that route from the air cleaner assembly look beatup and the vacuume line on top of the EGR looks beatup.
Anyone have a vacuum line routing diagram for this engine?
Also besides airleaks behind the AFM and cracked vacuum lines what else can cause a high idle in these engines?
Is theere a simple way to disable the EGR?
I got a have a timing light but no real way to check the timiing until I get the RPM lower. HELP!
