Converting my FJ 40 dual exhaust on a chev 305 to a custom y pipe . I am not using the napa y pipe.
my installer asked if I want 2" or 2 1/4" for the y- pipe?
I will be using a Magnaflo 2 1/2" muffler ... are there pros or cons to a 2 1/4?
I am using cast iron manifolds .. I am using cast iron rams but passenger has a short 45* degree in it. The outlet is 2"
Any suggetsions?

For a 305 that I'm assuming is stock you'll never notice a difference either with torque on the bottom end or with HP on the top end. If they are both the same price just put in the 2.25 and be done. If it cost more stick in the 2.0 and be done.
