Does anybody know were can I find the engine air intake flow (CFM = cubic feet per minute) of the UZJ. I am trying to fit a pre cleaner for the snorkel and I need to size it correctly. A range under idle and full throttle will be best.

isn't it Displacement x rpm / 2 then convert to CFM
4.5L x 600rpm / 2 = 1350 LM = 47.6748 CFM
4.5L x 4500rpm / 2 = 10125 LM = 357.561 CFM
maybe somebody else can confirm or deny

multiply those numbers by 1.045
is the "displacement" volume advertised (4.7l in the 10o case) the true swept volume or is that the full cylinder volume? It is the former you'd need I would think. Not that this would work great with compressibility effects and all, but perhaps close enough?

As far as fitting the air cleaner you would take any number and add maybe 10% as a cushion. I wouldn't put something on that just meets the minimum.
