How often do you guys go to ride the trails? Its a 3 hour drive for me and I was hoping to go like once a month this year but so far its already end of May almost and I haven't been yet. I don't mind going up on the trails alone but I don't really know my way around and would like a local guys # in case I need some help LOL.

Hey jamie....

id say on average there is some rag tag unorganized adventure involving some member once a month.
As far as organized runs I think we have just 2 or maybe 3 a year, one being logans run in sept.

It doesnt take much poking around here to get a casual run together. Post up your intentions and watch it all unfold. I think some of my best trips there have been impromptu weekday runs with 3-5 trucks.

ill join ya if work permits...... sans lockers at the moment but up for a quick run as I havent been yet

Yeah, just post and you'll muster somebody up. I have to agree with Ryan on the weekday thing. My last trip was 4 trucks middle of the week and our only company on the trails was 2 bikes. It was awesome having it to ourselves. I'd like to try for once a month, too, and will stick to weekdays when possible.

I don't think I've ever been on a weekday, but the Sunday trips are usually pretty good and easy to move through the trails...

I would like to go soon, I haven't been yet this year, other than a work weekend. Our next scheduled trip isn't until September :crybaby:...

I always try to go during the week. That is the best time to go. Except for the work days and other club functions I never go on a weekend. Granted if you break down you either better know how to fix it or have a really good phone yo call someone to come out there.

I'd be willing to meet you up there also, Jamie, although I have a little work to do on the 62 after GSMTR.

Post up when you want to come Jamie. If I can make it, I will. If I can't, I'm only 16 miles away and would be glad to assist if you have any problems. That goes for anyone that needs help in the URE's, anytime! Except after 7:00 PM.
I don't drink and drive!! :beer::steer:

Ready for a trip. Really like the weekday idea. Any day after June 13. :bounce:

Might even be possible to have Jason's lockers intact by then.

I know you guys are getting a lot of rain up there and its going to be off and on this weekend but I just got to get away. I'm going to be up there tonight in the Arrowhead campsite through Sunday and see what sort of trouble I can get into on the trails.

Trails are gonna be slick as snot! My rain guage reads 4" since yesterday am.

Good luck and give me a call if you have a problem. Enjoy!!

Yeah that's what I'm worried about, I'm going to just stick to the easier ones. Of course that is only if I don't get lost and go down the wrong trail haha.

I've been there every weekend since Burt was finished. But probably hitting the coast if I do anything this weekend. Sorry. And beware of the "easy" trails after all this rain. They are slick as all get out. Like ice in some places.

agreed............. easy moniker is based on amount of rainfall

dutch john becomes impassible to climb and a semi controlled slide going down
you wont encounter back side of daniel but the slope with berms becomes a skate fest
thinking its falls dam too that has some stretches of shiny red clay

be carefull and have fun....... or wait till next thursday and join a small group i believe going

I wish I could wait for next week but I work every other weekend and the weekends I've been off lately have been stuffed with other obligations so I finally made the commitment and reserved a campsite for this weekend so there wouldn't be an excuse for me then the stupid rain came haha. I'll stay away from those trails, do you guys have a suggestion of just the trails I should stay on? I don't want to get into a bad situation. I just don't know the trails like you guys do and I've always just followed the rig in front of me the last 2 times LOL.

Can you do me a favor up there please on the trail ONSC sponsors. I need the length of wire that is broken on our log bridge. It goes to 2 different tree's but is broken and i need the rough length of it complete. Hopefully that makes sense.

You can text me it'll probably be better than me trying to check the web up there. 843-580-2121.

....... or wait till next thursday and join a small group i believe going

Any info on this? I should be free Thursday and want to take my buddy's son. I hope to have some 80 repairs to test out by then, too.
