you cruised right up it.

yes, not a problem. The rangers will check for alcohol.

Are you staying in arrowhead? If so, stop by and introduce yourself to Janet the camp hostess. It goes a long way on staying in good graces. She can giv eyou the low down on who's on what trails, storm damage, etc.

can we cruise at night?

here's a cool map

I don't remember the last time I went but are there any easy to mild trails I can take with my stock 100 and 2 young children? I want to take them on future rides but I want to ease them into it. If they go now on trails that are steep or cause my 100 to take hits, wether it be by a rock, tree or dug out hole they will be scared to get into the truck again.

there are lots of easy trails. On of the land rover dealers in Charlotte area takes a trip there each year. There are brand new IFS and IRS rovers that run a large number of the trails. Years ago, I took a brand new stock trooper with on all trails including daniel and rocky mt. I've missed last couple of years, but the ledge on Daniel, the ledge before Kodak (Rcky mt) and Kodak (Rckly Mt) are the only obstacles that fairly difficult without a bypass. I'm sure terrain has changed, but URE is a great place for taking beginners and families.

I only ask because it's hard to see what the terrain is voicronlook like when looking at colored lines in a map. I suppose I will be riding alone if j go on the easy trails. Not unless they are all linked somehow.

No there is always someone that wants to do some easy trails.....so usually do the easy ones first as warm up....then after lunch split up with some doing medium and others wanting to do Daniel or Rocky Mountain Loop....

It really depends on weather and condition of trails as they change all the time...but I enjoy the easy ones too....enough technical to keep it interesting and you can relax a little rather than being puckered up a lot like on Daniel or couple others.

You are going to be fine....you did them in your FJ40.

I did those trails with stock FJC and almost stock UZJ100 (minus tires and sliders). I would only think you will have to be very careful of your steps....

Our GSD will be there. Also talking about bringing either a couple of cyclocross or mountain bikes. Anyone else?

I'd bring my bike up.... I have no way of carrying it up safely.

checked weather....rain on Thursday and then Friday and Saturday are 0% and 75-78*F and 50s at night....Should be good conditions on Saturday for wheeling and Friday afternoon for everyones arrival and setup of camp.

Recent TacomaWorld report says it's pretty rutted and washed out. Should be a blast.
