Gentlemen,
Myself and my buddy @Crusha will be making our first trip to Moab starting on March 16th. Our plan is to explore the San Rafeal Swell for a few days starting 3/16, then Moab proper for a few days starting 3/18 and then doing the Kokopelli heading east starting on 3/22. Then the long slog back home to PA.
If anyone is local and would care to join the fun, show us around a bit or run a trail or two we would enjoy the company!
Our plan is fairly flexible at this point, our trucks are in Portland and we are leaving there on the 13th. Take a few days to get to SLC, then enter the Swell from Castle Dale, a few days through the Swell, a few days hitting some landmark Moab trails, possibly Hole in the Rock Trail over the weekend, and then back to the start of the Kokopelli on Monday.
If you'd like to join us or can offer any trip advice, amazing campsites, must see spots, etc. please give us a shout.
