I have a set of 38 inch tsls I would love to get balanced. My friend used 16 oz in each of his 37s and he said that worked well. Should I go for maybe 18 oz in each tire? Is there a general rule to follow?

I used 9oz in each of my 36" TSL SX's and 12oz in each of my 38" TSL radials. Both sets had a slight wobble around 40 mph but nothing before or after. I didn't drive either tire above 65 mph.

If you use this you can measure exactly how much weight each tire really needs. Just pour the beads into a baggie on the high side of the tire until it is balanced. I fought with some military mt 37's for the the better part of a year and finally got them balanced correctly with the balancer + airsoft pellets.

I would just like to say thank you for that chart. I plan on bead locking my rims soon and will be soon to bb's to balance and now I have a rough idea on how many ounces to put in them.
