So after years (and years) of sitting on the sidelines, stalking this forum, and looking at images, I finally bought an FJ40, which I'll be picking up this week. I'd already have it but needed to get a passport issue sorted out first.
As you may have guessed already, I bought a 1980 Canadian model. I've tried the search function quite a bit but haven't found anything definitive.
So my first question for you guys is, are there any meaningful differences between US and Canadian models, aside from obvious things like km/mph? I've been told there might be some smog differences but couldn't come up with anything concrete...
