Ungo (Clarion) SR5000 Remote Starter/Alarm ?

Anyone familiar with this model? I am shopping for a remote starter/alarm for my 80 and am having difficulty finding any consensus on the best one to get. So far this one has come out on top but other specific models and opinions that people have would be appreciated. Although I've heard it is difficult, I will be installing this myself. Any tips or concerns. This model is on ebay at a buy it now price of ~$160.00 Retails for $459.00. Sounds like a good deal to me!

I had an UNGO model alarm (non-remote start) on my Acura Integra, nothing but a pain in the ass. Never worked right. However- I don't know how much of that is because the installers messed things up.

Just get the bulldog.

I just successfully installed a bulldog remote starter. love it, got it on ebay for ~$50. bulldogsecurity.com has a chart of which color wires to look for and where to find them...specific to the year of your 80. They do alarm/sec sys/keyless entry combos also. Just be sure to keep your cluster of wires away from the steering column.

Doc, has made a good point. The installers could make a top of the line system a piece of junk if it is installed incorrectly. I had a remote start system put in about a year ago and I have not had any problems. I am not sure of the brand but when I get a chance I will find out.
