I may have posted this question but can't seem to find the thread. I'm trying to find the reason why my 2005 rear driver side is about 3/4" to 1"lower than right. No mods have done other than the mechanic changed replaced factory shocks with KYB shocks, matching factory spec. But the unevenness was pre-existing condition and that didn't fix it. could it be the springs?
Also I feel the rear has been a bit softer than usual, but the shocks are only about a year old.
What should I do? Any advice would be appreciated.

We may be help more if you gave us the hub to fender measurements all around. A stock LC is typically around 19.5" in the front and 20.5" in the rear.

I suspect spring sag. In the meantime, you may be able to overcome some of the sag by adjusting the torsion bars. Measure the distance between the center of the front hubs and the top of the fender arch. If they are different, adjust the torsion bars up or down. If you can drop the right front, it should change the left rear up. Some playing around should result in more level heights at all four corners.

Thanks! I did read up other replies that torsion bars may be off. How much does it usually cost if done at dealer?

DIY

Measure hub or top of rim to fender. Lift the front end, turn the adjuster bolt in full rotations 1 maybe two turns, then lower the vehicle and drive around the block to settle the suspension. Measure again, adjust if necessary. You can buy 3/4" ratchet and socket set from HF for less than $50, that's far less than you'll pay the dealer.

I've got a set of OEM rear springs that were not sagging when I removed them- they are off an 05 LC w/out ahc. You are welcome to them for the cost of shipping.

Did a quick measurement this morning, all three heights are at 19.5" with exception of front driver side at closer to 19"
Someone mentioned the rear should be at 20.5, I wonder if the one inch drop is due to my ARB bumper that weighes about 200 lb.?
Is there anyway I can get the back end back to factory height?

The rear bumper would definitely have an impact and I'm sure @sleeoffroad would be happy to sell you a set of spacers or OME 865 springs to add a bit of lift. Once you get that sorted out you can adjust the torsion bars to level out the front if the drivers side is still low.

replace springs if they are original, they compress and won't be as tall as new when worn.

Since you have a steel bumper, I'd call Slee and ask them what they recommend with your current/future modifications. You will need springs in the rear and if you are going with a steel front bumper and winch, heavy duty torsion bars are probably in your future.

Normal and easy cheap fix.

Crank torsion in front and trim packer in the rear.

Don't try to level a whole side by cranking on the torsion alone. This will get the cross weights all wrong, resulting in bad handling.

do you still have the LC rear oem springs? I could use them.
