I have been trying to find information about what is the best paint to use for the underside and the frame of an FJ40. If I have missed a link let me know and sorry about bringing up an old topic. Trying to make sure rust doesn't become an issue at a later point. I don't know if you guys have heard of a company called Eastwood and they offer several different kinds of under-coatings and I don't know which one is best. Would powder coating be an option?

Thanks

You may have better luck doing a search on the board, as well as looking in the Paint section.

Personally, I have used a SEM rust inhibitor paint. It is a gloss black paint that goes on thick. Three coats work real well for me.

Thanks for the advice. Right after I posted this I saw the paint section!
