Very new to the rebuild / restore process so this may be a very basic question.

When painting the cruiser is the underside painted? Or just primed since I am going to put some sort of lining product under the cruiser.

On one hand if I am going to cover up the paint with a liner seems like extra work to paint it. But if that is the best way I don't want to cut corners.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

undercoat

primer is enough why waste the time i am linning the inside of mine and did not paint

if it's cleaned underneath a little rustoleum black never hurt. Cheap and easy to do. Easy to touch up and looks good.

Primer is all you need before laying liner on top of it. Paint would actualy make things worse rather than better. As the liner likes to have a ruff surface to bite into...
