Hey Desert Yeti, you mentioned putting solar panels on the roof under the rack. I've heard that most solar panels don't work well when even a portion of it is shaded. Even just the shadow from the bars could potentially render the panels useless. Have you found a solar panel brand that would work well under a shady roof rack?

BIO Off Road sounds "green", especially with the sunset image. Bump It Offroad sounds cooler (just my worthless .02 cents).

haven't dug too deep into the solar panels yet, however, I have two things going for me.... Land Cruiser Phil has done it on his truck and had success...

And best of all I live in ARIZONA and travel in Mexico a lot where the sky is not cloudy ever :)

As far as the "green-ness" of the BIO logo, It is designed to reflect the font and lettering pattern in the TRD logo. The background color is green. It ads a certain amount of shock to the logo and the truck and grabs attention.

I hate attention as you can clearly see ;)

The photo on my truck is a photo I took on the beach in Mexico. It is done in black and white to flow with the truck a it better, but it's very representative of my favorite places to take my truck. Mike has some graphics I did for his truck with the front end up in the air that might convey an image that you can relate to more.

I am building the truck more as an expedition vehicle that can rock crawl than vice versa.

Thanks for the .02 though, glad I could return it with .02 more :D

I think the comment Travis351 made was more to point out that "BIO Off Road Products" is short for "Bump It Offroad Off Road Products", which seems to include redundant information.

It took me a moment or two to realise that BIO was short for "Bump It Offroad", so I think the comment has some legitimacy.

True, If you read it Through it says BIO (Bump It Offroad) Off Road Products. There is definitely some validity. But putting BIO on the window and with web address under it leaves a lot to be desired.

I guess Mike could have done away with the neat looking(in my opinion) logo and just put text....

All that being said, I forgot to put on the most important new component on Mike's bumpers!!!

They all come with a bottle opener now!!!

I think he has a bunch if you already have one of his bumpers give him a PM.

Your build is coming along nicely! Love the bottle opener option! Man i'm ready for the weekend to begin...

Don't know, Email Toyota and ask them...

You guys are killing me with this logo thing.

I get it, Toyota does it with any letter that has a "bottom" portion (D's and O's). In order to carry through with that theme you would need to thin out the "O" in BIO. People pay BIG money for branding. Its not a easy as you think.

Hmmm My wife is a graphic designer.... maybe mike would want some trade... graphic design work for the balance on my bumper..... hmmmm....

Here's the side shot of the entire truck. The trim rings for the wheels will be back from the powder coater on Friday.

The Slee rear, Slee sliders, and the front ARB all went to Summit Hunter in Castle Rock. I dropped them off on the way to Mike's house. He bought them 2 months ago and was willing to wait until I drove up.

Epic rig, man, epic rig! That looks GREAT!
