Oh, by the way. Are you looking to sell the Slee?

very nicely done and clever.

Wondering how much the cubby door detracts from the rear-ended strength of the bumper though.

The shell minus the storage will be the shell for his bolt on, leave the crossmember 100 series bumper.

Hmmmmm.... He is supposed to start mine in a couple of weeks.... I wonder if he will have it worked out in time..... Guess I need to talk with him again....

I'm liking the customization! Another idea would have been to offset the winch and have the fairlead come out of the driverside compartment area. Less storage but more clearance.

I'm just mad that I saw someone install a rear winch and battery. Now I have another expensive thing to install on my truck that i will probably never use but definitely NEED! Great stuff.

Where-o-where is the full side shot? Needs to be down low so you can get a better idea of the clearances gained.....

Like the custom boxes. That will come in handy. Truck has made some drastic changes here recently!!

I love this rear bumper, I wish I would have seen it when I was up there picking up my rear bumper and sliders, it was nice meeting you while I was out there.

Mike does amazing work.

Cool concept with the drawers. I'm fairly certain if I had those, they wouldn't open after wheeling some trails. The 100 takes a lot of under rear bumper shots on ledges and rock gardens even with the removed cross member and increased departure angles. It's still a bih wagon/van. . I have significant dents on the bottom side of my labs bumper and I thought it was bomb proof.

Here's the side shot of the entire truck. The trim rings for the wheels will be back from the powder coater on Friday.

The Slee rear, Slee sliders, and the front ARB all went to Summit Hunter in Castle Rock. I dropped them off on the way to Mike's house. He bought them 2 months ago and was willing to wait until I drove up.

You guys get away with so much in America. There is no way that we could use that bull bar in Australia, because the centre loop is leaning forward, which would mean that a pedestrian would be pushed down under the truck instead of going over the bonnet.

Yes, I know it is designed to do that, to save the vehicle occupants from injury when you hit an animal, but designs like that are no longer legal in Australia.

We couldn't even think about mounting a bike rack on the front of the vehicle as you are proposing to do. Everything on the front of the vehicle has to be "pedestrian safe", even though there is very little data on the involvement of bull bars in 4WD to pedestrian impacts, causing more serious injuries than would have otherwise occurred. "They" just see a big bull bar and have decided that it must do more damage than a car bonnet (hood).

But then, there are a bunch of idiots over here trying to get bull bars banded completely at the moment . . . again. They have been trying for years, and never give up when told to go away. This time they are getting the ear of the government and road authorities, and it is looking bad for us. Pisses me off!

I don't know what they will ban when people in 4WDs start getting injured when animals come through the windscreen.

Enjoy all your gear before the politically correct biege people get involved and stop the fun.

No sliders for the DRTHCRZR or are they just not in the pic?lol

Looks great man.

i really like the ideas you and Mike have thrown together on your rig. It's always nice to see fresh perspective. I hope you keep it up for a long time ;)

Just got off the phone with Mike! He starts my bumper on Monday!!!!! We decided after seeing this version and talking on the phone that I would get the next prototype of this one (minus the rear storage, winch and extra battery)... For those that are interested, according to Mike this new bolt on version sits 2" further back at the top of the bumper and the sides sit 1.5" lower compared to his original high clearance version. And wth the tow reciever you will still need to make about a 3" noch in the rear cross member. He has held it as tight as possible to the rear cross member to gain the most clearance possible. Which is why you do not see the slight angle at the bottom of the bumper like you do on the Slee model.... I cant wait to get this installed....

They've got to work on that window screen. With "BIO Off Road" the "o" is redundant and it looks like a new company at first glance. In passing one may just remember "Bio Off Road" and on a Google search, you just get the BIO page of other off road companies at the moment.
