A few weeks ago, I got the OEM part for
both left and right rear combination taillight, brake, reverse lenses for about $45 each for my HJ60... from Lakeland Toyota, aka Toyota Parts Overstock, in Florida.
Parts numbers for the lenses...
Right-hand lens is 8155190A00 and left-hand lens is 8156190A00. Just checked, and both are still listed as available as of date of this post. I had been considering "good condition" used, that were listed various places for anywhere from $50-$100 each, and another place that had OEM new for $75 each
As noted in the pinned message at the top of this OEM-parts thread, I have been very pleasantly surprised by the cost and availability of some actual new OEM parts versus various used or aftermarket parts, especially from Lakeland. A bit of challenge searching on their website, though can be done... And they have been very helpful on the phone, once you get through a long on-hold.
In the attached photo, you can see the maybe-two-year old aftermarket lens on the left, and the new OEM lens on the right, on Beastly... The aftermarket lenses were from a well-known Cruiser parts supplier (no diss on them, but definitely the manufacturer...). They were nearly the same price as these OEM (maybe $35/ea, rather than $45)... But both lenses leaked water and dust terribly, and the amber part of the lens actually faded to "yellow" in the first six months (and I'm in Oregon!). The OEM lenses, of course, fit perfectly, likely won't leak water or dust into the bulb housing, and they just look SO MUCH better... Even my non-Cruiser-fan family noticed, and they were excited at the great look.
