Ordering from the European equivalent to TPD/Amayama I got a NLP for:

- 17801-60040 (Air filter)

17801-60040 is good to go here in the US, I know we saw some on a recent stock order and they sell regularly.

As I was doing an Amayama order for the Hiace I tried to order the 60040 filter from Japan and also got a NLP answer from Amayama. Weird if there is still stock available at Toyota USA!??

As discussed back then, there are many other options for this air filter so no big deal here but looking like that this reference is getting phased out.

Plenty of stock in US.

Caution before purchasing those chrome cranks.
They require the matching window regulator with a 5mm nipple on the crank gear.
If you've got plastic window handles, first check your nipples!

I just measured mine and they are 8mm.

5/75 Chassis. Do you know if 69260-10040-01 will fit the 8mm regulator?

BTW, my regulator had the same dirt build up show in in your photos. (Or is that seal material that has decomposed?)

@cruiseroutfit Do you have the right size chrome handles?

@OGBeno

Everyone including myself loves -60P70. But I found -60P90 which includes headlight buckets, but can't seem to find out if that is the only difference? Have you dug into this one yet?

It's discussed a fair bit here on Mud. I brought a bunch over with 60P70's long before they were in the US parts system.

We still have a small collection of them available for a serious restoration or repair.

Another global NLA: 85220-55010, Early - 1967 wiper blades. These have the very specific clip mount for the OEM early arms.

There were a few at dealers earlier this month. ROCK SPRINGS TOYOTA IN WY SHOWS 5 AND AUTO NATION IN TEMPE AZ SHOWS 1. That info may be dated now.

We still have a small collection of them available for a serious restoration project.

There are likely a few floating around at dealer. I know there is also 1 AT WEBB TOYOTA FARMINGTON,NM 505-327-5900
Found two at the Ft Myers, Fla dealer--course they got me at $18 ea-- but then I needed them---

I’d send them a note, tell them they are over charging and they only deserve a modest profit :D

Fwiw I paid on average $21/each (inc shipping/tax) for the last few I found, so $18 for NOS parts is a bargain in my rookie opinion.

I'm still in shock a SWFL dealer has ANY old parts in stock.
