Pretty cool if you can look past the BS scanner that they used for TV. The wrench had to be designed by a human in order to print, not just simply scan and print. The printer is really cool, not sure why they needed to sci fi it up for TV.

that got passed around our office last week. We were skeptical about the differences in the original and the new part too. 3d scanners do exist, but you'd have to disassemble the original into it parts to properly scan it.

I like this one too.

how do i contact a member of mud if i only know there screen name?

yeah i know i just figured it out. Was told to check with someone about some parts but had to find their info in order to send message. Used search like jlee said and figured it out.

i am looking into buying this fj62 and parting out the dent. Hoping to hear from owner soon. Post #28 the red 62. 88 model. Figured i could put my tires, shackles, springs, blah blah blah and go from there.

nice...ditch the auto from the 62 and swap your 4 speed in. You will have all the parts from your 60 to do so.

didnt know that either.

out of my $$ range right now. Really don't need to spend the 1200 but figured if i can get the dent running and do a compression test on my motor i could get some clams for that. then there is the tranny and tcase. Gotta wait and see what happens. I am not a patient person so it is not easy right now.

If you get the 62, you will want to put your 4spd in it. Sghould break abotu even sellign the 62 tranny and misc vs your 60 parts. The auto is what makes the 62 rather slow.

Just do me a favor, if he does show back up and wants his money eventually(been 2+mos) give me your word you'll send me 47 bucks to cover what he paid for it!

so would i just put my tranny only in or does the transfer case have to be swapped as well. The 62 is electric actuated or something another for the 4wd isnt it??
