That is awesome; definite twins separated at birth type of situation here!
I've done a list of mods since I have owned her - and still have a list of more things to do .I have clear coat peel bad on my hood and roof - eventually I might do a re paint - but for now having a great time wheeling in my Prado .I might be out that way in August .Done some of the San Juan mountains in my Delica Van and Delica truck last summer .Took the Delica out on black bear pass and imogene - I would love to bring the Prado out there and take her on some of the same trails.

You’ve got quite the fleet there! That’s awesome. What’s been your favorite mod you’ve done for your Prado so far?

Mine has been on preventative maintenance focus since she came in (just imported back in late August) to get up to snuff for the New Year.

Removing the egr valve and removing and cleaning the intakes out of all the built up sludge .Was intimidating at first - but she runs so much better now !A friend of mine has a 2 door Prado and he put together an intercooler from parts and pieces bought on amazon .I'm waiting for spring and him to show me how he did his set up - a definate plus for prolonging the life of our deisels!

1990 HZJ73 imported from NL and in Tennessee for now!

Hey, I'm Josh. Long time car guy, first time Land Cruiser owner out of Portland, Oregon. My KZJ78W was received at the port just this week. I recently had a Toyota HiAce Super Custom Limited with the same 1KZ-TE, but if anyone here has seen the suspension on those AWD vans you'd know immediately that they are not anywhere as capable as a Land Cruiser so I sold it and bought my Prado.

Has anyone seen the gentlemen offering to import "as new as you want" 70 series? He goes by yotatrader on instagram, and has imported a new 78 crew with tray. I am like everyone else, would love to have a new one, and also know that it has been all but impossible, so I am very skeptical. Told me they are brought in through Maryland, and come titled in Maryland. Talk me out of it.
