Turn signals

I have done some research but can't seem to find anything related to my issues. Whenever i use my turn signal left or right it activates both the left and right turn signal. this is on a 98 Land Cruiser Thank you for any help

might be due to a bad relay. those are the big box looking things in the fuse box in front of the driver side in the engine compartment. I am having to replace my head light relay because my head lights wont come on but the bulbs are not blown.
