put this together a few months ago to be able to get a load of 12' 2xs. and be able to fit in parking garages too. I have been meaning to build one ever sense a piece of wood came crashing through the back window in the old ranger a while back

needed to haul 20'ers so I made the back stand, 20' was pushing it, no dents on on roof, got lucky!

built with 1 1/2" .120 steel tubing and 13gauge 1/2" expanded metal. paintbrushed a qt of rustoleum hammertone black but it is muck more like gray. came out pretty decent I would love to sell it locally in SD for $200 to a mudder, so I a can build a better one. about $50 in steel and $15 in paint in it, and a full days work
