Tuff Dog Return to Center (RTC) steering stabilizer

Just reading this thread. What was your take on the RTC?

Chungas has been on a long leave of absence. He may not respond to this thread, it has been better than a year since I have heard from him. I’m not sure he has the Old Mule on the road yet.

Is anyone using the "Tuff Dog RTC steering damper/stabilizer?, If so can you elaborate on it's performance? Looking to replace my old unit with a new damper and would appreciate any input on the "Tuff Dog".

Hi I have a 105 series land cruiser...

I put one of these tuff dog steering damper in and it works pretty good

But the day after I put the damper in I had a death wobble in the front wheels

Turned out I have a cracked chassis panhard mount due to having bigger tyers and a 3 inch lift
I attached a photo to show where the crack is

The new steering damper did take out the oscillation and stopped me from correcting my steering every 5 seconds while driving....
