Ok great, there was some back and forth so I didn’t want a lonely meetup! The venue is awesome if you haven’t been.
I am coming for the venue ;)

Could not find group....

Hey Chrismanjs thanks for the hollaback...didn't see until much later...Peggy and I made two passes around the joint--we've only been to one other meetup so didn't recognize and didn't see any CSC signage or swag. Weren't feeling up to walking up to strangers and "Are you the Copper State Cruisers?" so we diverted to the Loft and caught Ladybird. Thanks Wilma83 for setting up the meetup. I would like if the next one offered parking as a group--get to look at eachothers' trucks, that's a big attraction for me. I may be reaching out for advice soon as I am servicing front axle this month first time.

Had no idea it would be quite so busy, but between the U of A game and Christmas get togethers it was quite packed. Typically the goal is to be able to hang out and look at trucks. Thanks to those who made it out and we’ll probably be meeting at Button brewery next in February in support of our fellow CSC member.

Drove home after the meetup, and when I pulled into my driveway, a car following stopped behind me, and a woman probably in her early 20's got out and apologized for following me, but wondered if I had an automatic transmission, because she had seen me pull away from several lights smoothly.

Turns out she will be inheriting her grandmother's 75 FJ40, and just had questions. So I told her about CSC and mud, and we may have a new member at some time in the near future.

BTW, thanks, Wilma

Was the meeting at Culinary Dropout? I spent most the day buttoning up the final touches on Peaches’ overhaul ( new rear main seal, clutch kit, leaf spring bushings, t-case rebuild by the wonderful Mr. @Cruddz ). Look forward to the details for the January run! See you next time!

Yes, it was, glad to hear peaches is getting fixed up!
