Trying to find the mont vehicle was made (1 Viewer)

I have inherited my father land cruiser and I'm trying to find out the month it was made but I'm not having much luck. I've called department of transportation, Toyota Australia and even department of infrastructure because I was advised they might help since it's an imported vehicle. It's doesn't haven't it on any plate the only thing on the plate is the chassis number. If anyone could help me that would be much appreciated it's a HJ61 imported Sahara I've been given 1988 by department of infrastructure and 1987 by the mechanic but no one knows the month it was made

Omg you are a life saver. Cannot thank you enough, with the chassis number and the model number I was able to figure it out. Something that took me weeks to figure out you've done in a couple of minutes thank you so much I appreciate it heaps
