Some KOH proven triple bypass Bilstein shocks I got off the 4573 when Matzell decided to 4 link the rear and needed coil overs.

The shock hoop will have to wait as the bender is busy at another location presently...where is that build thread?

Crossover steering is done except for the purchase and install of a ram.

Yeah, the tie rod is a bit low, but with wore out 37s there is 16.5" of ground clearance. It's 1.5" x 0.250 wall DOM (Ruffstuff kit) so I think it can take a little abuse.

I even did a poor mans alignment, giving it about 3/8" toe in.

how big is that beast going to be off the ground

It's a bit of a monster at the moment. With 37s, 28" of belly clearance and just shy of 7' to the top of the exo.

I've got some spring rates to mess with in the rear. I'm hoping the front leaves will settle some- if not I may pull out a leaf. Like to get it down a few inches.

Anyone have a power steering reservoir like the one in the photo? The factory cooler part too? (I got a nice cooler from Bloo, but this would bolt right on.). May need to make a run to pick-a-part.

I would throw a transmission cooler on there for the power steering.

Power Steering and trans coolers mounted.

A few more tubes and tabs welded in the rear.

Continue to make slow steady progress on the project. Last weekend was rear bump stops. I went with poly performance budget bumps for the rear. I'm hoping with the dual rate IBP shocks I won't need air bumps, but if I do everything should just slide right in place of the aluminum slugs with poly bumps on the end.

You may notice the new PAC springs. My rig was too light for the 150/200 springs That came with the King IBP shocks. After conversation with Wayne at Alltech Motorsports and several hours studying the Spring Tech thread over on Pirate, I went with a 125/150 setup.

Looks like the old springs will be recycled on the 4573 rig.

Also picked up the Advance Adapters copper GM conversion radiator. This thing is a huge heavy beast, but fits like a glove with a ton of surface area.

I'm jealous of the progress, I spent most of the weekend working on a go-kart...

Tim, Looks really good. Thanks for taking the time to talk tonight, got my bump stops figured out and called it quits. No pics or post for me tonight.

It is funny how nothing ever really is gone, it just moves from rig to rig. I guess the new springs will work for you?
