I like those altimeter gauges!

I like, that is what I need to add to the front of mine...I have measured for it, not quite sure I want to cut the grill out but it may happen.

I cut up an old broken grill to see what it could look like with careful trimming. Not bad. Ignore blue tape - I was brainstorming bumper options.

Not sure about these H2 wheels Dwight picked up for me. They bolt on, but something just doesn't look right.

Should wook fine for off camber trails

Don't forget the curb feelers.

The H2 wheels narrow the track, could be good or bad depending on conditions.

These 37" KM2s might look a bit better on there than that rubber band. With 5.5" BS they will pull tires in 4" over the 3.5"BS wheels on it now. It might even fit on trailer!

This is an interim solution until I decide on a set of Krawlers or similar. Tony, your 39s are ready for pickup :)

About to order a ton of 9/16-18 lug nuts to mount the H2s to the axles. The big Ford (1 1/16") lug nut is supposed to work well with these wheels that have a big conical seat. Dorman 611-061

Tim,

Get a set of lug nuts with a 3/4 bolt size acorn style lug nuts. It will make your life a lot easier... Those are the ones that I have. Let me know if you can not find them I can get them for you.

The KM2's do look much better, nice!

It's been over a month, updates? Pictures?

Sorry for the lack of updates. Still working hard on it. Today was steering. Finished drilling and tapping box and welded on some Front Range Offroad reinforcement to the frame. New Trail Gear HD pitman arm reamed to GM 1 ton (thanks Skrewball).

These are some pics I took a while back. Need to finalize some details in the back but fabrication is almost complete for fuel cell, power tank, high lift, spare tire, 3 action packers, and artec quart crate. Loving the TMR Customs dimple dies I picked up at KOH!

Another cool feature is how much is getting recycled. Not only have I used some of the gear off my old 40 (now smtyblt's) but I used some tube in the spare tire mount we cut off the old 62 before it went to scrap, tons of parts off Matzell's 4runner (stay tuned for the expresso maker install), and lots of bits and pieces of steel and stuff from John Embrey. I've got interior parts from Bubba and Norm. I've borrowed tools (like Dwights hoist for over a year) and labor and advice from the rest of you. It wouldn't be possible without everyone's help! Thanks.

Lower shock mount from Ballistic Fab.

On another note, I am so happy with my Miller 211 right now. It is an amazing machine working beyond my expectations. Highly recommended to anyone in the market.
