She used to fire right up but lately i am barely getting her started in the mornings. I live in TX, so it isn't THAT cold. At lunch breaks and after work, she fires right up. It seems to happen only when sitting for awhile.

I've followed the procedures in the owner's manual and it's not working out for me. It's almost like no fuel is getting to the carburator when i pump the gas when the motor is turned off. Anything i shoud look for in the carburator?

Fuel pump pressure ok?

I am a rookie/newbie, but I've owned my 85 Fj60 since new. I'd check the fuel filter; easy access on stock 2F set up. I tried Techron. I know many don't believe in "chemical cures," but this product is worth trying. Good luck. N.M.
