Water (ice crystals) in the gasoline? Run 100% gasoline and/or add a bottle or two of ISOHEET (Red bottle is 98.5% Isopropyl alcohol) to a full tank of gasoline.

What weight oil are you using and what size/condition is the battery?

Brand new battery, I think a group 24F with 750CCA or so. Pretty new oil as well, synthetic 0W-20. I made sure to get a thinner oil. I may try the ISOHEET.
 
Any updates on this? I’m having the same issues in Ohio anytime under 30 degrees
I found that a battery blanket helps a lot. Pretty cheap and very effective. I also have a lower radiator hose heater and an oil pan heater. With these, the startup is no longer rough. It does crank slowly still with all of those heaters when it reaches about -30°F and beyond, but that is tough to accommodate for.
